How awesome, my husband brother, has a business so close to where he lives to get snacks from OJ snacks! That kinda makes sense, with the Marijuana Pot Shop just down the street! The houses look really nice, with all their big fancy swimming pools, screened in porches! I thought this was supposed to be an upscale part of Florida, but the last time I was there, it was looking really run down, like a hood, & 3rd world country! The roads are all cracked, & there is rust & pollution all over the place! While the houses are very nice, some with marble countertops, why would someone want to buy a house in a swamp, with water currents rising, & shifting towards the houses! Where does water go, when there is nothing but houses, basically a concrete jungle & all the trees are gone, which trees & vegetation absorb carbon & water! Won't everyone flood, no matter how high you raise the land, & no matter how much landfill is dumped, no matter how deep you dig the canals? My brother-in-law said they are building more houses near where he lives. Where will the water go? Look at how large the canals are already! It seems very odd, to invest on land, building such an over abundance of houses! With this being a FEMA SWAMP, the people who OWN the property & who have flood insurance, will get money to rebuild in the same place, if/when a catastrophic event takes place, which they already have taken place! Why are there restrictions on land usage, that you have to rebuild on bad land? It would make more sense to me to rebuild further inland, & go to places that have opportunities for people to survive! One of the reasons my husband was glad he left, was because he knew there were no opportunities to survive, & make living wages, other than government jobs! Unfortunately for the people who have background checks, that may affect if they can get a jobs, with using illegal search & seizure thru employement background checks!
