I recently moved to Charleston and wasn’t sure where I wanted to get a gym membership. I made the right choice by choosing O2 on Daniel Island. Every time I walk in I’m greeted by a friendly face. I feel very welcomed every time I walk in, and the staff is very helpful if you need something. I also started personal training there recently with Rachel and she is amazing! She has made me feel confident at the gym, showing me how to do different exercises and use different machines. Overall I’m very pleased with my decision to workout here!

This gym has first class equipment and is always clean. Kind and courteous staff always willing to help. I’ve been a member here for a couple years and absolutely love this gym.
If you are looking for a place to workout that doesn’t feel like a “regular gym”, this is the place to go. The facility is clean, updated, and inviting, and the staff is EXCEPTIONAL. The team greets you with a smiling face (in a mask of course) and often knows you by name. Rachel is an absolute gem and made me feel welcome in an environment where I was very out of place by setting me up on a training plan that transformed how I felt about working out in a gym. James is the BEST trainer with tons of experience in everything from cardio to weightlifting. Their daily clinics are fantastic and get people out of the workout comfort zone, making going to the gym the best part of my day.
Awesome gym, I've been a member for many years and this new location does not disappoint. Great variety of free weights and machines. The staff here is incredible, Rachel is absolutely fantastic as a leader and I've been training with James F. for months and he is exceptional. He is extremely knowledgeable and I love the results I've been seeing from this team.
Amazing club the management staff is great and Rachel is also amazing. The club is very clean and a strict mask policy. Keep up the great work!
I haven't been to this particular location but I had a membership at the goose creek location before they closed 1/28/2021 and was paired with trainer Carley Ross. As she is transferring to the Daniel Island location I wanted to make sure everyone knew what a great trainer she is! I left every session knowing that I would be hella sore the next day. Every session she showed me something new and I learned some great tips on how to work out on my own and in the gym! I would highly recommend her as a trainer for whatever your fitness goals are. I lost inches from my waist and 20 pounds!! Thank you, Carley for all your dedication to my success!
I came in O2 two years ago. I thought I knew how to do a push-up. I could do 10.......I bragged. When Cathi showed me the correct way... I could only do 3. I hired her. I have been with her for over 2 years now. I consider this the most important thing I can do for my overall health and working in my power to keep my muscles strong as I age. I am currently 67. The gym has taken a lot of safety measures during the pandemic. I highly recommend Cathi Rider as a personal trainer. She knows what we need when it comes to our bodies and stamina. Smart move for me!!! Chris Pace
Friendly staff; knowledgeable, fun trainers; careful about Covid. Everyone wipes down equipment, wears masks, and they have the whole place fogged daily. Also lots of space and great equipment.
