Apple season is October-December and I hear it’s really hard to find parking during the season, but it’s also probably an entirely different experience. We visited in early February it was 49 degrees and not overly crowded. Apple Annie’s bakery is open as was the restaurant for dining, order with the hostess and seating is on the patio deck. There were 3 small gift shops and a candy shop where they sell some very delicious caramel apples. A petting zoo and ax throwing was all that was open as far as attractions go. Public restrooms out in the park were closed (we thought maybe covid?) outhouses are available on site and the restaurant restrooms are also an option. Oak Tree Mountain is a “Scenic Loop” make sure you stop at the other orchards and try some hot apple cider and warm cider donuts.

Amazing time! I worked with Precious to set up a birthday party for my daughter. She went above and beyond to create the perfect experience for every single person. We started at Apple Annie’s for lunch. The service was quick and super friendly. Lunch was delicious. We ended at Axe Therapy! Everyone had so much fun. We can’t wait to get back!
Beautiful scenery with lots of trees, wilderness, great places to eat. Fresh produce. Where humans have built around nature instead of tearing it down. This is a town that anyone could love.
Wow! What a great find! This place looks great with lots of parking and fun things to do. We actually got there a little late in the day but the people that work there are so nice, they opened the axe throwing range back up just for us! Totally recommend and we will definitely be back again.
Great mountain experience without having to go too high up. More attractions and places to get food or treats would be great
