Mike has been my \go to\ guy for service on my furnace and propane fireplace. In this case, my fireplace hadn't had a tune up in about 6 years and wasn't firing up. Mike had it functional in less than an hour, but what I really like about his service is that he shares what he knows about the fireplace with us and has taught us how to do simple maintenance on it so we don't have to call him every year! He even advised on the correct product to use on the 'glass' front which really isn't glass. It's ceramic and you should never use Windex on them. The ammonia causes the 'glass' to crack. There is a special cleaner just for these fireplaces. He is thorough and very polite. I have sent many others his way just because of his great service. Thank you, Mike!

Mike was our technician today. Outstanding work, timely and professional. Making sure we understood the system and answered or any and all questions I would definitely recommend Island Heating.
Mike came out to the house and was one of the most thorough and professional Heating AC technicians I have ever come across. He took his time to ensure our 12-year old heat pump, which had likely never been serviced, was restored back to operational specifications in preparation for the winter all the while answering owner questions and providing pre and post tune up efficiency numbers. Can’t recommend Mike or Island Heating and AC enough — great company!
Pat, Mike and Josh are great! They were very thorough and checked our heat pump for all the possibilities of why it stopped cooling. I would've never thought to find this little part that was the culprit! I'm looking forward to getting it fixed before the heat of summer and staying cool. I know they'll get it all taken care of for us at a reasonable price. They always take that into consideration and are easy to work with.
Josh did a great job performing the annual maintenance on our furnace, water heater and fireplace. He keep me informed, answered questions and was careful while working in our home. Great work- and a great value to protect our investment. Look forward to having Island Heating and hopefully ‘Josh’ back next year.
