One of my guilty pleasures is to spend a bunch on beads I do not necessarily have an immediate use for at Bead in Hand. Bead in Hand is located on Harrison, also known as the Oak Park Art District. It is a little gem of a store that’s chockfull with beading supplies, beads, books, everything you need to feed a serious addiction. Bead in Hand has a helpful, thoughtful staff, great classes, a beaders’ night out. If you’re in their system, you get a discount every time you spend 100 (which is not very hard to do, believe me...) and a little discount gift on your birthday.

I love shopping at this store!!!! The store is unique and fun and the staff is friendly and very helpful. They always have the newest beads and accessories along with a good selection of traditional favorites. They also have a wide variety of classes if you want to learn something new or better techniques on something old. They also have little projects available around the holidays that are inexpensive and a lot of fun!!!
