Delicious artistic craft Brews cold-brewed with a commitment to the craft. Local pub environment with local snacks and an old world feel. Very community-oriented. Creative unique beers. Friendly service. Is definitely worth heading south of the freeway and feeling this relaxed community environment with delicious beers made with love.
Highly recommend the tap room, and their . The Prohibition Lager, the Porter, and the coffee infused Dinkel (three varieties) were really impressive. The beer is made right there, and now available in some local restaurants, bars, and stores. I had the pleasure of a private tour with one of the owners, Neal, and can safely say these guys know beer, like beer, and like the ability of beer to build community. Go check this place out today!
I wanted to love this place. This was everything I’ve ever wanted in a local brewery, small, beautifully decorated in classic charm, and a great (though small) selection of beer. I’m not sure what it was, maybe I gave off a bad vibe, maybe the bartender was having a bad day, I don’t know what it was. One server came up to ask what myself and my boyfriend would like, we hadn’t decided yet so we mentioned we need a minute. I believe the bartender came next and we ordered. Our drinks came very quickly and while they weren’t what we expected, they were good! My boyfriend had to run home to switched the laundry to the dryer (we live right down the street) and in the 15 minutes he was gone, no one came to ask if I needed anything even though my drink was nearly empty. When he returned we waited an additional 5 minutes before I approached the bar to pay our tab. Again I waited. Maybe the bartender didn’t see me, I was a bit out of the way, and he was talking to customers. But after few minutes I felt silly standing there with other customers watching me. The first server came out of the kitchen and happily helped me, we settled the tab and got the hell out of dodge. I wasn’t in the best mood, we just moved and we were both stressed, but I’d been so excited to try this place I was really disappointed. We won’t be back again, but with all the other good reviews I’m hopeful this was an isolated incident.
Loved each beer I tried! A clear commitment to excellence and attention to detail was paid in planning every element from the product to the decor. Definitely returning with more friends.
