Do NOT I repeat do NOT give this place your time, money, or patience. The old man that runs the place is a liar, scam artist and a few other things google will not let me say. We had a storage unit for around 2 years, and have had nothing but problems with this man. The facility itself is very nice, but needs someone else running it.

This is certainly a clean, well secured storage facility. There are many clean, well secured storage facilities in the area. We have not contacted the owner about our situation, but when we asked for the owner's contact information we were given a name, DJ Wheeler, and when we tried to look up that name, it was not obvious online who the person would be. The short of it is, we found the property manager to be friendly when things were going his way, but absolutely rigid and irrational when there were issues. This is not a community oriented business. If you want to be treated as a valued customer, find another storage facility.

Do not trust this place with your valuables. Your belongings are not safe with them, and they are incredibly rude. I spent two years out of the country, and stored my valuables at Oak Ridge Storage. When I came back, my stuff was in bad shape. Anything stored within two feet of ground level was moldy, including nice wooden furniture that is now ruined. Several of my clothing containers had been compromised by mice, and they chewed up a lot of nice clothes. They're obviously not managing water seepage and pests in their units. Also, a large section of the sheetrock ceiling of our unit had been pushed in from above, in what was a clear attempt at entry from the attic. I say \clear\ because the sheetrock was clearly broken away from the nails, and in other places had broken clean at the horizontal beams. It was obviously from weight pushing down from above, in a likely attempt at theft. When I told the management (the man who is always on site) about this attempted entry, he curtly interrupted me in an attempt to frame it as natural wear from a sagging ceiling installed in the 80's. To which I'd counter: 1) that ceiling is clearly newer than 80's vintage, as there was no sagging anywhere else, and 2) what the heck kind of secure ceiling is a thin slab of sheetrock? I had an earlier run-in with that man when I was moving my things in. He is stated in another review to be a ude jackass\, and I heartily concur. One evening I lost track of time and was at my unit until about 10 minutes past close. Instead of taking the standard customer-oriented approach and sweeping through the lot at closing time to politely remind one's paying patrons of the time, he waited until I left and flagged me down to yell and curse at me, with my 10 year old daughter in the vehicle. I would have moved my things to another facility if I'd had time before my time abroad. I certainly wish I'd made time to do so.
