We had not had Eritrean/Ethiopian food for quite a few years - this brought back some great memories. The food was very flavoursome, and so filling! It’s great to sit around a share plate and partake! Our toddler loved the lamb! Fresh and well-prepared food. Reasonable prices. A lovely little restaurant that is worth a visit.

Tried the meat combo, veggie combo, and the alitcha gomen (cabbage and carrots). All the food was delicious (especially like the lamb and chicken on the combo) and the injera is PERFECT. Also nice ambiance and our server was very sweet. Highly recommend and will be back!
The food here is so good! And the customer service was excellent! This was my first time eating Eritrean food and it was fantastic. They helped me choose my dish and even helped me customize it to my pallet! Don’t think twice! Order from here and support a local black owned business!
This spot is so so good! Visited this place for the 3rd time today. My husband loves Italian food and we have officially ditched our traditional place for this restaurant. It's a must try! The bacon, tomato, basil sauce is my favorite.

I have been to many Ethiopian restaurants, and I have never had a more welcoming customer service like Asmara. The food is very flavorful and delicious, and the honey wine tastes exactly like Ethiopian tej. This is the place to go if you are looking for great Ethiopian food.
Glorious carbs! This place is a true gem. Make sure to do a few laps at the Americana across the street after. You will need to after having a meal here !

I prefer coming here for dinner rather than lunch,as the ambiance and service tends to be better, but this place is super for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan folk, as well as meat lovers. A real crowd pleaser!
