The best restaurant hands down! This is my favorite place to eat, not only in Oakland but in the whole world. Every penny spent here is well worth it. I always got the hummus with injera and the veggie combo. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I call every week to see if they have reopened since the coronavirus lock down. Please open back up.

This is my fav Ethiopian restaurant to go to. Everytime I'm in the area I have to stop and send hubby to grab us so of this deliciousness. It stays busy so be prepared to wait. The atmosphere is chill everyone just enjoying each other's company over good food and drinks.
I have had Ethiopian food in London, UK, New Jersey in US and California. So far enssaro has been the best experience. Eating here again after 3 years brought back all the tasty memories. There such a homely feel to this food, I feel satisfied after. Don't feel bloated or stuffed, neither feel the urge to have a desert. This food is tasty and cozy. The honey wine is all the sweetness I need with my meal. The service here is wonderful, smiling warm people. Will be going back soon to try the chicken on bone.
My family ordered over a hundred dollars in food and all three meat entrees were not provided. Half the food was missing. They simply put what they could fit into one bag and any that didn't fit were gone. Food was good but I strongly suggest smaller takeout orders!

Service & Food is good. This place can get really busy. Especially cos it's the only restaurant open late in this area. Plan accordingly
The food was good, but not amazing. The price was very reasonable. We did a 2-for 40 deal which included ample food and 2 drinks. Servers were friendly and service was solid. You definitely won't regret eating here, but there is better Ethiopian in the area...
