Great place. Chill vibes. Fantastic service. Great food. Indoor and outdoor seating doesn’t offend my COVID sensibilities. Get here before the seats run out!!!

The customer service was fantastic and the ramen was on point. They have a number of different options and will switch out the ramen broth for halal, kosher, or vegetarian dietary concerns (most ramen broth is pork-based). Would recommend

Good food, fast service even though they're very busy. They're hardworking and brought out food we ordered in a way that made sense. Only thing I didn't like was the grilled ankimo preferred it lightly poached

Wide selection, especially the izzakaya items you don't find everywhere. Plus they're open late, and have outside seating- heated. Great service

Wow! I’m not sure where to begin describing the awesome experience I had tonight. I’m visiting from Houston for work and was craving Sushi/Japanese food. After searching through Google and Yelp we stumbled across this gem that has only been open for 10 days. Our server Britney was very attentive and patient with all of our questions and requests. The owner, Kay, came to our table and recommended 3 different Sakis to try which were all very savory. The ambiance and music were also a huge plus. If you’re a local, you must try this place out. I assure you that when I come to town, I will always go to Izza.

Just came here after things opened up in January and loved it! All of the foods were fresh and deliciously flavored. Truly reminded me of my visit to Japan. The service was also flawless, our server was attentive and knowledgeable. We mainly stuck with the small plates but will for sure come back to try some of the larger entree’s soon. Really great to have this addition to the Temescal restaurant scene!

Great new izakaya. Flavor is great. Not so salty that I am afraid to give it to my toddler. The beer menu is a little bit limited for a izakaya, I had expected more and had hoped for a bit more variety but they do feature local sake, which I didn't even know about.

Service was good, food was alright though. Sandos was solid, but I expected more from the skewers I ordered. Shrimp was terribly overcooked, and the beef tongue was alright, and the pork belly was the best..(but how can you mess up skewered grilled pork belly) The seasoning on all items needed some work for sure as somethings were on the verge of over seasoned, and some things were underseasoned. Maybe I will give this place a few more months and come back. I liked the beer and sake selection. Vibe was good and casual.
