So good. Some of the best pies I’ve had anywhere. New Zealand, Australia etc these are right up there. Tons of commonwealth foods too. Super nice owners too.

Love it! All th goodies from fish paste to rusks and everything in between. Biltong is the best around and the pies are A must visit for any South African with a craving.
Very nice people. The food was good. I was craving African food, and wanted to support a black owned business... and was surprised to walk into see colonizers. The food was more like traditional English flair with some exotic spices. Not what I was expecting but they were very nice and the food was tasty, so I'll be back.
This was my first time visiting Meal in a Pie and it was a wonderful experience! The girl behind the counter was more than happy to answer all of my questions and make some delicious recommendations. I got a few different meat pies to-go (my favorite was the steak and kidney!) and I loved how buttery and flaky the crust was! I also got some candy treats and a few pantry items. Can't wait to go back and sample more items!
