I rarely want to give a restaurant more than 5 stars, but Shewhat is one of them. The owner is stellar, the food is amazing. It's still hard to find Vegan and Grain-Free options in the world, let alone that taste this amazing.

Went here for the first time this past Saturday with my sisters and the food was really good. The vibe of the restaurant is great and really nice outdoor area. I will definitely be going back with more people. The owners are extremely nice and welcoming.
This was our first time dining in at Shewhat and it was a really amazing experience. I usually go to Enssaro in Oakland with my family but this is our new favorite spot for authentic Ethiopian cuisine. The owner Abi was an amazing host, she made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Highly highly recommend them for homemade style cooked food. Wish this business the best.
If I could give 10 stars I would. So amazing! The food and hospitality are top notch. Love the chicken and spinach tibs; I’ve eaten nearly the entire menu and have enjoyed it all.
