UPDATE 11/2020: They started accepting more people, which led me to stop going. It's still 2 people per lane, and every lane was pretty much \full\ whenever I went. Totally not a problem in a non-COVID world, so I may wait to go back for a while. This review is strictly based on my experience at the pool today, which is about a week after they opened back up after covid pandemic started. Hoping this answers some questions people may have during COVID. I didn't know until I got there, but you need to make a reservation before you go. They open for 90-minute blocks, and at the end of every block they clear out the pool and clean for 30 minutes. Fortunately the pool capacity wasn't full so they let me go in. There were 4 other people there, in their own lanes. Lockers are prohibited at this time so I changed real quick in the locker room and put my bag on a designated chair by the lane in the pool area. People who were not in the pool (including life guards) always wore a mask. I think they're doing a great job keeping everyone safe and enjoy the pool

Very good setup, with ample room to socially distance. Staff are very helpful. I was just surprised to see the sign that says you must always wear a mask, _except_ when exercising. Unless you're swimming, it makes total sense to wear a mask when you're exercising, because hard breathing is most apt to blow the virus all over the place. At the very least Oak Marr should strongly encourage people to wear a mask at all times -- and requiring it (except for people with a physical condition) would be better. Fortunately virtually everyone in the weight room had a mask on.

For Oak Marr RECenter Itself for sure my rate is more than 5 stars .... but this rate is for their karate academy; Master Folta. Actually, I wish I could rate this academy below ZERO. The instructor is so aggressive with the kids and so demanding for anything makes more money for him, I think he is looking for nothing exept money. Please protect your kids from facing a very bad treatment and being humiliated in their classes. I attached their contacts with this post to make it clear which academy I mean.

Wonderful, friendly and cooperative staff. Than you Hanna et al!They keep the place clean and encourage all who walk in to grab a spray bottle and some paper towels to do pre and post cleaning of the machines you use. People who go to workout are very respectful of our new covid world and do wear masks while walking around. They have everything I need for my work outs. Plenty of aerobic machines. The weight machines are plentiful and the free weights are slowly making a comeback. I should start swimming since they have the nicest pool I have yet to see. I never had an issue with this place and have been a member for two years now.
