Oakwood Studios Los Angeles Olympic & Olive team was very helpful with the entire reletting process and made sure that I was very comfortable every step of the way. They even made sure I was able to select my unit of preference. Fantastic service from the leasing staff.

I stayed here with my husband and young children when we first moved to LA, and as we weren't sure how we would go living in downtown with a family we only booked 1 month at first. But after a short time we extended our stay to 2 months, and ended up being there for 3 in total! While it's not billed as a family complex it's very child-friendly, and is in a great part of town for anyone with young children. It's across the road from a super park, the central library is just a 15-min walk away, and it's within a few blocks of both a Whole Foods and a Ralph's, which makes those frequent trips for odds and ends very easy to do with a stroller or little legs. :) Add to that the really lovely swimming pool, the excellent office staff (it's hard to find a nicer night manager than Titus!) and the fact that all the other guests were very friendly towards our kids, and we really had a super stay here. My only word of advice would be to communicate directly with the specific building office staff that you are arriving with children and if you have any specific requirements for the room in advance. Our booking was made through my husband's employer through the central Oakwood system and all the Oakwood staff in the Olympic & Olive building were told was that a 2-bedroom apartment had been booked. Not all the 2-bedroom apartments have bathtubs, so when we arrived late one night and were placed in one that only had showers we asked about this and luckily the staff kindly swapped us over the following morning. Also, both bedrooms just have two queen-size beds - our kids are so young sharing wasn't a problem, but I imagine this wouldn't be so great for older kids. Again, the bedrooms can be converted into twin rooms but this requires notice and I think typically incurs a surcharge so make sure you clarify this upfront if it's required. I would highly recommend this place, and it would be my first choice for a downtown apartment again in future without question.

I've had unattend construction work in my apartment since July and management still doesn't respond to answers as to when this will get fixed. They dodge the question, or when they do provide some insight its never the truth -- super unprofessional. To top it off, they have they still take my 3k/month with no problem.

This one used to be a great property to live. Since the previous manager Janina left this property, it has been a complete disaster. We had submitted maintenance request almost a month back and its still pending. Titus is only one person who really nice and friendly to tenant. I would not have extended my lease if it was not Janina and Titus.....Now that Janina left, I am left in really bad situation.
