What a gem!! Last time I was in this area was well over 15 years ago. This restaurant can definitely hold its own in any big city. The staff is so warm and inviting. The Chef comes out to greet you and makes sure you’re happy with your meal. Family owned and everything made with love. The decor, music, food, attention to detail is superb. You’re not left waiting for assistance or wondering how long before you’re waited on. I don’t like wines because it always gives me a headache, but the Vlad red wine was delicious and no headache. Everything we had was delicious. The sliders, beef tartar, tuna, red pepper soup, the Carmel cheesecake were spectacular. Take your time eating the cheesecake. Let it melt in your mouth and take the other half home to enjoy the next day. I will ask for no drizzle on my slider bun. I just don’t like sticky stuff on my fingers, but the drizzle is delicious. We will definitely make it a point to stop here every time we drive up. Guys and girls take your special person here to make a lasting wonderful impression! Thank you everyone that made this evening such a delightful treat!

We have always loved this restaurant since its opening. We know Chef Tony and appreciate his excellence. Judged solely upon food and wine offerings this restaurant continues to deliver, however NO staff at this restaurant wear masks. Based upon a conversation with the ownership the belief is that providing a elaxed\ dining experience is more important than protecting their staff and clientele. This is unfortunate. Their rationale is that none of their staff comes to work sick, which is appreciated, but if things were that easy why would anyone need to wear masks? We could all just stay home when sick, right? It's the yet to show symptoms, staff member or client that poses a risk to those of us with family, friends and coworkers in the high risk groups. I never thought to ask if staff would be wearing masks when we made our reservation. We were surprised. We sat for some time discussing our options as to what to do since we found ourselves in this predicament, in an establishment where no staff wear masks. Wondering who may have come and gone in the restaurant, or who any of the staff may have come into contact with that I would never know about that could pose a risk. We have thankfully been able to eat at several other Ocala establishments without worrying about our exposure risk. Here patrons are left to take that gamble upon themselves. This review is intended to inform those who'd like to know, before they come, that NO staff wear masks since the management does not inform you of this ahead of time.

two days ago was the first time in this fine restaurant. But It is surely not the last. We passed a splendid evening with the generous service, with the finest cuisine and fine drinks and with the honest payment. We will surely come back again.
