High Quality in all that they do. I have done three certifications through Patriot Scuba now and all of my experiences have been phenomenal. Their rental equipment is in great shape and kept up to date with industry standard. The instruction I have received is top notch with a deep bench of experienced instructors and assistant instructors. Also, in caparison with other dive shops in the area, their training areas for confined and open water are close to the DC area. No more than an hour drive to get to their training locations. If one is thinking of starting their dive life I would highly recommend using Patriot Scuba to get there.

Just got into snorkeling and free diving, I was able to get top notch fitted equipment I needed to enjoy myself; mask,snorkel, fins; all for under 200. The staff is very knowledgeable and doesn’t try to up sell, they allow you to rent the equipment you’d like to buy to make sure it’s right. They make it easy to feel confident about your investment rather than buying blind off Amazon or generic low grade equipment from sporting or big box stores.
I had planned to dive with Patriot this Fall or Winter to get certified. While my busy schedule ended up hampering my ability to get it done in time for a diving trip, they were extremely accomodating, understanding and kind, and clearly very knowledgeable, too. I ended up buying gear their and they were very helpful. I'd recommend anyone go to Patriot for their open water certification.
Great place to even just stop by and talk scuba! Always engaging and answers all kinds questions. Be prepared to learn more than what you expected EVERY TIME you stop by!
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Made me feel welcome and really helped me find the correct wetsuit size. Also had service on a regulator and am very happy with their service personnel. I am taking classes with the shop and will continue to use them for advanced certifications for Rescue Diver and Nitrox.
