Totally wasted their time, my time, and the time of others. One of the first questions they asked me was if I was a college student, to which I said yes, then they proceeded to call my mother for approval (her name is on my lease because it waived the security deposit), she gave them her approval, and then they called my work to confirm I worked there and got that confirmation, and so I got my hopes up. I met the cat of my dreams, I picked out a bunch of stuff for him, I was ready to bring him home, and then my dreams were crushed. About 10 hours after that initial phone call where I stated yes, I was a student, I was told they don't adopt out to students. How careless can one be, to waste a whole day calling all these people, only to come back and tell me they don't adopt out to students? This cat has been looking for a home for months now and is still on petfinder. I could go on and on about how terrible my experience was, as there is so much more. The lady who everyone talked to on the phone was incredibly rude to all of us, but I'm just going to end my review here. My experience felt like they didn't even want to try to adopt their cats out to good, loving, forever homes. I truly hope if you fall in love with a cat from them and try to adopt that your experience is 100 times better than mine. If you are a student, no matter how good of a home you'd give a cat, they won't adopt out to you so please, please save yourself the emotional trouble. They wont even tell you they won't adopt out to you when they first find out you are a student, and finding out really hurts. So save your emotions before you get attached to a cat, you wont take that baby home anyway because they don't care how responsible you are.

We had an awful experience with a pet store who refused to let us adopt a kitten. I posted the experience and within minutes one of these kind volunteers worked with me until almost 10pm to ensure we were able to add Levi to our family. What wonderful people and what amazing work they do. Thank you DCC!
