It's a good idea to have the choice of individual pot & big shared pot. The 25 for weekend dinner charge is fair... Soup base choices are also plenty.. Food materials are also plenty and of good quality. From a customer view, I'll say it's worthy of your bucks... Pretty crowded recently. I can see that Rutgers Chinese students come here more & more...

This place for the price was absolutely amazing! It's pretty standard hotpot, and everyone gets their own pot OR you can do traditional communal pot. Beef and lamb are on an order basis, but it is not additional cost. Overall it was pretty cheap! Less than 20 per person! Extremely satisfied with the experience and would come back again I the future!

Decent selection of items, free drinks, fast and professional services but music is too loud and dish refill is fairly slow. The store ran out of noodles while we were visiting.
Why I give this a five star is not exactly for excellent taste, but of the quality of the restaurant as a whole. I've been coming here every now and then and over the years they have REALLY improved. They clearly care about their restaurant, and I always applaud good, hard-working people. They added sneeze guards and fixed the layout of their buffet. It got so much cleaner and the management is far better. They used to leave the sauces on the counter but now they put them into a buffet section like everything else. The staff try to help you even if there is a language barrier. I find the waitresses especially helpful. Might I also add that the taste is excellent as well? I guess there's no way a Hot Pot can taste bad unless you are doing something really wrong, but all I'm trying to say is that its very worth it to come here and try what these great people have to serve. The best thing is when people care about their work and they make it show. They also have my favorite sauces there at the sauce bar. :)
While I'd wish there to be more selections (more seafood options especially), for the price, it's a very good deal. The all-you-can-eat meat is great (you have to order it though), along with all the rest of the vegetable, seafood, fish ball selections, etc. I have been satisfied with going there without ever buying the barbecue addition. I'd like there also to be better desert selections, as it's very typical of the low-quality options you find at a cheap Chinese buffet. Not too many hot pot restaurants around, so I'm glad they opened up in Piscataway.
