Always an awesome experience with Summertide! Rip and Cari are the best at what they do and some of the finest folks you'll find down east. This weekend was no exception, found some BIG reds and made a very happy first time redfish angler who is now hooked for life!

I am an avid kayaker, but my parents not so much. They moved to N.C. from NJ and I came down to visit them. They wanted to do something that I wanted to do during my visit and my Mom found Carri and Summertide Adventure Tours. We had so much fun! Carri explained just enough about kayaking so my parents could have a fun time, with out bombarding us with all kinds of crazy details of operation, and she made it so much fun for me and the rest of my nerd family with facts about the culture and wild life of the area. She was a blast to be around and gave us the leeway to float around a bit and relax. We are so stoked we found her! We will be back for sure! ️
Can't recommend Summertide Adventures enough. I am at high risk for COVID, and Cari made sure my family and I could enjoy the most fun adventure we've had in months while maintaining social distancing in a beautiful setting. She patiently answered all my questions over the phone before we booked our Tubbs Inlet tour. Cari is so friendly and has a great sense of humor. She and her assistant Kim have a wealth of knowledge about local wildlife and shared lots of fascinating facts about local birds, crabs, and other native species. Our twisty float through grassy marshlands was a really fun challenge, and the scenery from the inlet was beautiful. As a bonus, Cari took and shared lots of photos with us, at no extra charge, so we didn't even have to worry about messing with our cameras while we paddled. This trip was the highlight of our vacation. We'll definitely book again next time we are in the area! Thanks Cari!
Great kayak tour on Tubb’s Inlet! Very informative guides. Highly recommend if you are visiting the area and would like to spend an afternoon kayaking.
On Wednesday we joined Cari for the morning Bird Island kayak tour, it was so much fun! She was very knowledgeable and friendly. This was absolutely the best part of our vacation; getting to connect with and learn more about the island, habitat, and the animals that live there. The beach we visited was beautiful and secluded. We saw and learned much about the birds, crabs, fish, etc. A guided kayak trip with Cari is must do if you are in the area! Looking forward to our next vacation and kayak adventure in the Ocean Isle area!
