A must stop for the vacationer! Wow! I was surprised at how neat, nice and orderly this store appears. Thousands of items can be found here at Tsunami Surf Shop. Went today with our family of 8 people and am completely appalled at the “service” we received. Just moments after entering the store, I was trying on some flip flops that were on the floor and one of the shop employees rudely told me not to touch them that she wasn’t done with them. I asked if I was allowed to try on the flip flops and then she snapped not those I’m not done, you have to wait until I hang them up. I told her I got it and walked away, and was not planning on saying or doing anything as the rest of my family was shopping. Well, a few minutes later this man, who I assume is the shop owner, begins yelling, and I mean YELLING at my nephew for playing with a toy he was planning to buy. When my sister in law went over there to see what was wrong, the man said, “He’s playing with the toy all wild and he isn’t even going to buy it!”. She told him next time he needs to find the parent before yelling at someone else’s kid. He wasn’t doing anything wrong. By the way, we were poised to spend some money in that store. That is all it took, I told everyone we were leaving and would not be giving anyone in that store a cent of our money. I will never ever set foot in that store again. Do not take your kids there. If i could mg I’ve 0 stars I would.

Typical beach store selling cheap stuff. Service makes this a one-star shop. Older man with glasses behind the counter was rude and dismissive to my wife, and also gave her an unfair exchange to her trying to return, an already over-priced, bathing suit. Same employee scoffed at another one of our friends counting out exact change for him, saying “women” under his breath. I’ve never felt the need to leave a review for one of these stores until until this dreadful place. There’s got to be hundreds of other beach stores like this to choose from in this area and would recommend any of them over this travesty.

I bought an Ostrich beach chair and after using it ONE TIME the wood on the arm split and broke. I paid 120 for the chair and when i tried to exchange it for another (since they refuse to return anything) i was told too much time had passed (one week) and they refused to do anything to fix the problem. Im a local and have spent a lot of money in this store. Extremely disappointed. I refuse to ever shop there again.
