wonderful location and the cabin was extremely nice to stay in- ample room. we came in right before the blizzard hit the entire region, so it was cold but that just made the fireplace that much nice to cuddle around. Would highly recommend.

I absolutely loved our stay here! We rented Cabin #13, and it was beautiful! There was a super nice hot tub, a huge backyard for the kiddos, a serene wrap-around porch and it was riverfront! We were able to kayak, hike and explore! The park itself had a swimming pool, volleyball / basketball court, playground, trampoline and swing set! You could drive down to a creek, and we were able to walk down through it and collect neat rocks to bring back home. The staff were friendly, and super helpful. I would recommend this place, and definitely revisit!
When you want to get away and you don't want any problems of any kind this is the perfect place to go. Our cabin overlooked the river, the view was spectacular, the staff was so very incredible, the cabin was well-appointed, we loved the deck and the hot tub, we loved kayaking on the river, we loved being there! No hassle, no drama...just peace and serenity and fun with friends. We had five women in 7-person cabin and it was just right!! I would go back there in a heartbeat! The nicest, most chill staff provided us with everything we needed and/or asked for.
Beautiful cabin!!! But... the front door wouldn't lock, bathroom portable heater they had sitting out didn't work, the ac unit would shut off and not come back on unless we turned it on, off, on.
Great place to stay for a mini vacation. The view from our cabin was awesome. We were overlooking the river. Cabin was nice and even had a hot tub on the deck. The closest town with a grocery store is approximately a 20 minute drive just in case you forgot to pack any food escentuals. If your looking for a beautiful area with peace and quiet this is definitely the place.
The cabins were clean, the views were stunning. The kayak rental was smooth, and the tandem fishing kayak we got was good quality and very stable. Larry dropped us off at the kayak put in, and promptly picked us up from the river when we were "ready" to turn in for supper. Everyone was friendly, the process was hassle free, and the river was primo. We will be back for an extended stay in the near future.
The Lover's Nest cabin was perfect for a 3 night getaway with my wife. We enjoyed being near Lake Ouachita State Park and horseback riding during one of the most beautiful times of the year.
We stayed here due to the convenient proximity to the Womble mountain bike trail. It is a hidden gem for sure! My husband and I stayed in the Love Nest cabin. It was the perfect little cozy getaway. The jacuzzi tub was wonderful, especially after a cold day on the trail! Water was hot. A/C worked great. The rain on the metal roof was so relaxing. Very private and romantic. Good view of the river. My only complaint is that there was no coffee, although there was a coffee maker and filters. So if you are a caffeine addict like me, you might want to bring your own just to be safe.
