Authentic Japanese DELICIOUSNESS!!! If I had a Japanese grandma I imagine this is what she would cook for me to eat when I visit! She would also give me these huge portions as well! In fact the owners are the cutest elderly Japanese couple I’ve ever seen! They are the ones in the kitchen cooking everything! So there you go! If you want to know what real home cooking is about then you need to eat here! I got takeout and in my pictures I ordered the Tempura dinner kit and Aggedashi Tofu. I’ve eaten everything on their menu and EVERYTHING is delicious. This is authentic Japanese cooking! Unpretentious, big portions and so affordable!

Very limited seating with short hours of operation, so it is highly recommended to make a reservation. The line piles up quick at the door. This restaurant is run by a couple and have it set up where visitors fill their own water and bus their own plates to a rack. This takes away the need for servers and also makes it so you don't have to wait for refills or dishes to be cleared. They use a ticket system for ordering where it's first come, first serve. The food was incredible and tasted just like what I remember from living in Japan. The bench seats were enjoyable because we got to watch the two prepare food. Appetizers, entrees, and sushi were excellent. Don't miss this one; it's worth the wait.

This is by far the most authentic Japanese restaurant I've been to in Utah. Not only authentic, but also very delicious! The owners are very friendly. The exterior and interior are pleasing to the eye, and the atmosphere takes me right back to Japan. Everything about it reminds me of the little shops I used to frequent in Japan, except this place is even a notch above those. Because it's a tiny ma and pa shop, it doesn't have a lot of seating, and it can get crowded. Arrive early for lunch, or call ahead for dinner reservations. Many of their customers are Japanese, which should tell you something. If you're a fan of authentic Japanese food, you won't be disappointed.

I love their beef curry. So comforting on a cool autumn day. I didn't order ahead but the owner came out and allowed me to order.
