I have taken instruction from other cfi's before being recommended to Tyson by other pilots, and he, by far, surpasses my expectations after having other instructors! I've been taking flying lessons from Tyson, for a while now when I can. He is very thurough and clear with training objectives both in the air and with ground school training. I'm a little slow on the up take, and he takes the time to be sure I have the right guidance for all the studies I need. He's very good with his time management for training, which I appriciate due to the dollars it takes for training. What's so important to me is that he works around my schedule and speed. His charges are very competitive, lower than the other cfi's. No intimadation or pressure in his instruction. He has saved me countless dollars in training and hours in combining flight hour training to full fill my requirements to get my ppl. I think I picked a very compatent instructor with this guy. It seems such a breeze training with him, not an insermountable task training for my licence. I recommend him for all types of cfi training. Rick Smith SLC UT.
