Latter Day Stories Narrative by Mrs. Alltop

Really love the natural beauty of these springs. Devastated by the amount of trash and clothing being carelessly through around. Nasty and disheartening. People!!! Take a few minutes to pick up and throw away what you packed in. Scout motto... No trace! Warning, some of the springs are exceptionally hot. Others are milder and nice enough to sit in. Safe for the family but the trash will disappoint you. Trail heading in is a little steep but manageable. Not pet friendly. Wear good hiking boots.

The hot springs are by the side of the road as you enter the ogden canyon. Not a lot of parking space but enough for 5-10 cars so i guess its plenty. Seems like they were destroyed somewhat recently but they have been rebuilt and theres now somewhere between 5-10 pools (didnt count them all). It seems like this is private property but didn't see a sign. The gate has been wedged open and the trail to get there is a little tricky in the winter but not too dangerous. No hypodermic needles found like i was led to believe by some older posts, its actually quite nice if you can overlook the random socks or hand towels you might encounter scattered throughout the place (not really a nuisance). Water looked clean and had a tinge of color given off by the algae growing on some rocks but fun trip overall!

This is an awesome little escape from the bustle of life. It can be crowded. Enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Trespassing to get to it. Police threatened a citation. Used to have a no trespassing sign, seems like sign was torn down. Definitely have to walk around a barbed wire fence.

There are still several pools you can soak in- you get through a little opening in the fence. Some can have sporadic temperatures. Use caution.
