We had ordered a nice Grand Canyon log set and Dwight from the store was great to work with. When the unit arrived we scheduled installation and were ready for new gas logs. That’s where everything fell apart. Our installer was great to work with, however our installation was propane and no one had helped him get prepared. There was an issue with the pilot light and he didn’t have his regular van so didn’t have parts to help fix the issue. His calls back to service department seemed to go nowhere - and they seemed more concerned about getting our installer out to his next appointment rather than trying to resolve our issue. So here we sit. Logs in the fireplace. Don’t work and not one bit of communication from Midwest for how our situation might get resolved. Very frustrating. Hope everyone else’s installation goes perfectly because they aren’t prepared for contingencies of any variety. Ugh.

Our tech, Jacob, was great! Polite, safe (mask on the entire service time AND worn properly), continually working - dream employee. Did an excellent job explaining our issues and to ensure it doesn’t happen again! Solved our problem, cleaned the gas fireplace, touched up paint, added rock and cleaned glass. (We had no idea we would be getting platinum service!) Customer service isn’t dead! Will definite Midwest Fire again!

I had a gas freestanding gas stove installed in December of 2019. It replaced a wood-burning stove. The stove looks and works great. The installers were knowledgeable and did a good job. However, the stove started to show some rust stains for whatever reason in the fall of 2020. I called Midwest Fireplace and although it took some time to get on the schedule, they sent a guy out to fix the problem. The repair guy educated me on the stove process, repaired the rust spots, and painted the area of concern. He left the room spotless. I get plenty of comments on our stove's looks and heating performance. Overall this was one of those purchases you wish you would have made years ago.
