Corned beef hash felt like greasy leftovers. Wings were good, French Onion soup below average. Had a burger a year ago and it was 5x better than this last experience. Very nice people and atmosphere I wish them all the best.

Great place! Good food. We sat outside on a cold night and were warm under the heat lamp. Great Shepard's pie... Even though it was technically cottage pie. Sweet potato fries with spicy chipotle aioli were crispy and piping hot. Yummy! Servers were attentive and sweet.
Great little spot in Old Saybrook for a low-key date or just hanging out with friends. The location is ideal for walking up and down Main Street, checking out book stores, coffee shops, ice cream, and more! This place isn't a \dive\. If that's what you're looking for, go to The Monkey Farm down the road. (Not a joke. That's its real name.)
My father in law took us here several years ago. This was his absolute favorite place. Anytime we came he CT he insisted we had to go or just him and my husband go for a drink. I have to say they do have AMAZING food and drinks. My father in law recently passed, many of the staff knew him very well. Penny lane helped us honor him by leaving his prayer card at the bar, so he will always stay apart of his favorite place. Thank you penny lane. You have no idea how much that means to this family and his friends. Esp now when we come to visit and see his picture there.
My husband and I love Penny Lane Pub. Clean, great ambience, professional and outgoing staff, and food/drink that is quality!
