I work in Old Saybrook and this is the hidden gem in Saybrook that we frequent most. Their new location off of Main Street is a cool little historic spot. Tissas is owned by an extremely friendly husband (from Morocco) and wife and the food and ice cream is always great. Its most popular as a lunch spot and their Moroccan inspired sandwiches are fantastic (lamb sausage and anything with harissa on it). For dessert, don't miss the Moroccan Delight ice cream. You'll dream about it all summer.... Don't miss this place.
