I like OBH but I'm not crazy about climbing 30 or 40 steps to get to the changing rooms. The knees aren't what they used to be, so I use the one handicap accessible changing room on the main floor. There is no first-floor toilet, however. On the plus side the water is reasonably warm and the place is otherwise pleasant.

Can't go wrong with a pool. Open Every day in the winter time closed in the summer just needs some repairs like the roofs leaks but they do plan on fixing this is the summer for some much needed repairs. And I do believe it is a historic building. And if you are a vet you can get in for free.
It's a nice idea and the inside is very nice, but the main problem is, most of the people that go there are either homeless, or don't know what a shower is. It's absolutely disgusting. Like I said, this is supposed to be a really nice thing. It's so unfortunate that places like this are consistently desecrated on the regular basis.
This place is an awesome find closer to downtown! They have really cheap prices, clean and well maintained. Also this place has great history and started as a service to the community! Their adult swim classes are affordable and pool is of decent size.
It is a nice place to get some exercise in during the winter. I was surprised how cheap it was to. For 4 family passes it was only 60 dollars until June. That’s a steal. And even if you didn’t want to join as a member it is only five dollars a day to swim there. They keep their facility very clean. And they have schedules that show what hours they are open and what times open/family swim is.
