I first shopped at Music 6 in the early 90's, it was my favorite music store then, and still is today. The customer service is great, the level of expertise and knowledge from the employees is phenomenal. Among the the many purchases I have made there I was recently able to get the guitar of my dreams (Les Paul Standard 60's edition). The knowledgeable and friendly staff helped me to get exactly what I wanted with no pressure if gimmicky sales pitch. It's a must stop and visit type of music store, if you are in Olympia and enjoy playing music.

They are very helpful and eager to make sure you have what you need and get all of your questions answered. They are also willing to help you with hands on support if you bring an instrument into the store. Percussion, strings, wind, keyboards, music, supplies, parts, and much more is available! They have new and consignment, so they can help with budget friendly purchases.

Favorite music store in town for name brand stuff. This is where I go instead of guitar center. There's also Capitol City Guitars downtown which is great for more pro craftsman level guitar service and repairs, but I like Music 6000 for when I want to browse a bit and check out pro audio etc.

Went inside to play some music. They only allow 15 minutes to be inside, which is fine, but the employees there would not stop reminding me. Remember when you could go into a music store and play music? Music 6000 is too good for that now.
