Fish Freaks is great. I come in so often that these folks should be positively sick of me by now, but they’re always extremely kind. They take considerate time to answer my questions and help me pick out the ideal fish, plants, equipment, etc. If one of the reps doesn’t know the answer, they never lie or misguide you. They’ll simply say “I’m unfamiliar in this area, let me grab somebody who can help you.” After being misguided by pet stores in the past, this sort of thing is HUGELY valuable to me. Every rep has their own niche and they have so much insight to offer for the newbie aquarist. Prices can be kind of steep sometimes (I feel like I get my plants at much cheaper prices elsewhere, for example), but it’s usually still worthwhile. If you’re fresh to the hobby, you’ll feel so much more confident after a few visits here.

So far everything all my coral is dying. All I get is a run a round. All new in December. They service. I buy everything from them. Continually asking and only buying as they recommend. Maybe I wait for it all to die. I can't belive this is just how it goes... If it get fixed, praise they get. If not. We know how that works too.

Fish Freeks is an amazing place. Mike and Chase set up my 150. The staff is awesome. Every time I go to Omaha, I stop in for a fish or 6. No BS, If the person you are talking to doesn’t quite know the answer (usually fish compatibility) , they will go get someone who does. Excellent everything!

This is one of my favorite fish shops I have been to. I had called with questions about packing fish to move out of state, and Katie was so wonderful in answering my questions and even help packing the fish up. They really do care about their fish and the quality of service to provide.

They had a good selection of fish and the employees were very helpful, but I bought 3 bettafish (Halfmoon females) and 2 of them died two days after. I called to ask what I could do and they told me they wouldn't do anything since I didn't bring the dead fish in within 48 hours. (I got the fish on Sunday afternoon around 4pm and found the dead fish on Tuesday around 5 pm, aka 49 hours). The employee who got the fish for me dropped one of the bettas onto the floor while taking it out of the tank to put into the bag, and told me it would be fine and that they would know before I left the store if there was something wrong with the fish.
