Parlour 1887 is my neighborhood salon. It's been my go-to for haircuts for years, and Jo-El always does amazing work. But I want to share my wedding experience. I was nervous about how much money professional hair and make-up would cost me, as that's an indulgence I had never had before. But Parlour 1887 was responsive, collaborative, and their work turned out beautifully! Taylor did my hair. She and I did a practice run a few months before the event and she had great ideas for me. She took my feedback— even my wishy-washy, non-specific thoughts— and made it work. I felt confident with her talent! Vienna did my makeup. She listened to me the whole time and when my fake eyelashes felt too big for me, she very graciously changed them to an option that felt more natural. I don't know what magic she performed, but it looked like I had cheekbones for days! When I received my preview photos back from my photographer, it confirmed that having my hair and makeup done by skilled professionals was the smartest thing I could do.

This was a really fun experience. Anastasia is a very positive person you can tell she loves what she does. I wanted basically a long pixie but never cut my hair short before. She didn’t rush my decision when we discussed it prior and I felt fully informed from her helpful answers when we discussed it prior! She helped ease my nerves through the process and I love how it turned out. She a talented hairstylist!

Such a cool place and Ali was super friendly and easy to chat with! She was really concerned with making sure I felt comfortable, and that I was getting the style I wanted. We got along very well and my hair looks great!

I love this place! Sam does my hair and it always comes out the way I want it - never brassy which has been a problem with my previous stylists. She also does it in a timely manner. The salon is adorable and very comfortable. Everyone that works there is so friendly and inclusive. I couldn’t recommend Parlour 1887 any more.

I really enjoyed my hair cut and color! The place is nice and smells amazing... tbh, getting my hair washed was my favorite part. :) They were upfront an honest about what it would take to get my hair the color I want, and I appreciate that. I scheduled my next appointment!!
