The repair shop at Thompson Music is amazing! Dave is the best. He is incredibly attentive, professional and kind. There have been several repairs that he actually did for me right on the spot.. I am a Band director and professional musician so I appreciate Mike and Dave's attention to detail. I have had instruments that have come back from other music stores in town and had to take it Thompson to get them fixed right. Truly they are the best in town!

Mike Thompson and his crew have helped me out so many times I can't count. I have both purchased from them and sold used horns with them. They are currently have my Scherzer B flat rotary trumpet for sale, SN# 26283, Mike and his staff are all trumpet players and know everything. I have been a professional for many years in orchestras and my teachers are famous from the Chicago Symphony and I couldn't recommend anybody better. They have always come through. If they don't have it they can order it. I don't go anywhere else for trumpet stuff. This is a GREAT trumpet and brass shop, they don't sell string stuff.

Nebraska of all places!!! Amazing (candy) shop that collects and specializes in brass (mainly trumpets and tenor trombones) for the professional and students moving to an intermediate level. Thanks Dave for the cleaning/repair of my Besson. You said the third valve slide would move like a trombone slide after you finished and it does. Thank you Jamie for your hospitality and patience. Mr. Thompson I thank you for sharing your knowledge and allowing me to try out the collection of both vintage and new innovative horns.
