In the middle of winter, the auger cable to my snow thrower broke! I found T&J Small Engine close by. They were willing to order the new part without hesitation. Initially I thought that a family member could replace the broken part, It turned out that T&J was able to do the repair in an extremely timely manner. He even assisted in the transport of the the machine to the shop. Travis was always pleasant and professional in our interactions. His rates are reasonable. He certainly will be the first one I call for any small engine needs I have. -Larele Armstrong Costello

I had a couple great experiences with Travis at T&J. Travis fixed my mower in the middle of summer when it broke unexpectedly. He came and picked it up and dropped it off at my house, which was great. Travis also recently fixed my snow blower in the middle of winter. This was a project that I thought was DOA, since the machine hadn't run for 8 years. Travis picked it up, worked on it, and dropped it off two days later. It runs great and came back just in time for me to use it on a foot (!) of snow. I have nothing but good things to say about Travis and T&J. Thanks for the convenience, reasonable prices, and great service!
Very pleased with our experiences with Travis at T&J. He has serviced and repaired both our snow blower and lawn mower. Pickup and drop off service is amazing and I always feel I am receiving quality and honest work. Quick and reliable service.
We stopped at T and J's shop last Wednesday to arrange to have our mower to be serviced and picked up and delivered. Our conversation was normal and pleasant. He said he would pick up the mower the next day between 4:30 and 6:00 PM. On Thursday he called at 3:30 to say that he could not pick it up because he had a pick up in Elkhorn and picking up our mower would be out of his way. He said he would call us the next day, Friday to arrange the pick up. We never got a phone call so I called at 4:00 pm and left him a message to please call me to arrange the pick up. The weekend passed and we heard nothing. On Monday I called 3 times and left only one message for him to call me and he never did. Today is Wednesday and even if Travis is very busy with other jobs he should at least have called us to tell us something by now. It is obvious that Travis does not return phone calls, is unreliable, and needs to work very hard on his customer communication skills. Also, be careful if you ever visit his shop, you will be greeted by a very large pit bull that gets very up close and personal.
I would never use these guys. I went here to get my weed eater fix and they told me they did have time. Ok cool that not my problem. I told the guy I had a riding mower that shut of while riding it and he told me to bring it in and he wouldn’t charge me to look at it. So I bring it in and he argued me down telling me that I didn’t tell him I had a rider like I didn’t know what I had He told me I had a mower. And yes I have a push mower that works so why would I need to bring that in. This place is very unprofessional and rude
