Visited the Winchester today with my husband and intellectuallly challenged brother in law. We had 2 burgers, fish and chips, and we shared an order of onion rings. The portions were right on for our hungry bellies. The food was cooked to perfection but what I was most impressed with was the exceptional service from the young lady working today. She was so very competent and sweet to all who came in as well as us. She made us feel welcome and I didn't have to ask for the thing. She was on top of the situation. The Winchester is so very lucky to have such a great person working for them. We will definitely be back. Whoever prepared our meals is top notch as well. Prices were reasonable and service great. Overall great value for our money. Thank you

Celebrated my daughter's 23rd birthday there. Even in the times we are living in now, this establishment was very fun & only had fun loving, good hearted people as customers & employees. It was very easy to relax in a safe environment & actually enjoy an envening out.
Went on a Tuesday when they have their hot roast beef sandwich. It did not disappoint. Two slices of Rotellas bread loaded with roast beef, topped with amazingly rich gravy with carrots and onions and plenty of it. Served with a scoop of homemade mashed potatoes all for 7.99. Don't go there for the atmosphere. Set your expectations as a dive bar and you'll be happy. The wait staff is friendly and makes you feel at home. Can't wait to try some of their other deals. The only criticism I have is 2.50 for a fountain drink versus 1.50 for a can? I always thought fountain drinks were cheaper for the vendor. Why charge more?
