Catfish Cabins was a nice weekend getaway for me and my other half. Really close to Lake Livingston and other places to visit, shop or eat at while your enjoying your stay. There's 3 cabins there so call in advance to book and make sure to keep your booking as Doug the owner really takes care of the place and visitors. The cabins are separated by woods so really you don't see the neighbors. Outside the cabin you have a bench to sit and eat, BBQ cooker, fire pit and patio with ceiling fan to relax. Inside you have ac unit, TV, bed, table, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, cups and linens for the bed and shower. Nice size cabin. There is a nice size lake which is private so no fishing license is needed and I caught a few fish. There is cable TV and no wifi but I did have 1 bar of service on my phone. Nice amount of birds to see and places to walk around the place and a great wooded area all around. Doug also have firewood there for your fire pit, prices for the logs are cheap just ask Doug when you arrive. Enjoyed my time and it was quite plus relaxing.

This was our first time going to Catfish Cabins but it will not be our last. The place was clean, grounds were well maintained, quiet, and relaxing. The owner, Doug, made sure we had everything we needed. He has a great personality and is great to talk to. Highly recommend for a quick getaway. Richard and Amy
Beautiful and very relaxing. Nice clean cabins. Great fishing and bird watching and some wildlife saw a deer. The owner was very nice great to talk to and respectful very honest. Will definitely be visiting there again.
My husband I went for the weekend we had a very relaxing time.the fishing was gd cabin was very comfortable an the owner doug is freaking awesome so down to earth
