This small museum was amazing in so many ways. I learned a lot and it left a lasting impression on me. There was a coalition of tribes and a huge trading network across the northeast for hundreds of years before Europeans landed here. Women held leadership roles as well as men. Such a different reality than what I understood growing up. This small humble museum offers a heart felt connection to the history of prior nations and culture on this land we call home.

What a treat! Wonderful collection of artifacts from decades of collecting by the Fadden family. The very best part is the stories they have behind each and every piece in their collection. A must visit for anyone in visiting the High Peaks area....

Great place ran by a great family. Lots of artifacts, history and traditions all under one roof. The had a story telling event around a campfire. It was very entertaining and informative. Family owned and operated with a little gift shop and beautiful original artwork for sale. Certainly worth the drive

A real treasure- an opportunuty to experience authentic Native American people, their crafts, their teachings, their beliefs. It is important to listen to the wisdom of those who deeply know our connection to the earth and our need to respect all of creation.

The Fadden family carries on the legacy. I believe it's the third generation who now runs the museum. You must visit.
