Have to apologize for my previous review. I must admit I was very frustrated with how my case dragged on, but it wasn't the fault on Attorney Schoenfelder it was mostly my last employer. They have caused the process to be prolonged, which has keep me from meeting my goal before the end of this year and though my Attorney has submitted all documents to date my case has still not been resolved. God is good and I know that he'll work things out for my good, Amen. Thank you Debbie for all your hard work.

I have been mislead by Attorney Schoenfelder. I have spoken to her once since my case has been in that office and was assured my case case would be resolved within a 4 month period, so I had to move and pay a higher rate to rent an apartment thinking I would have the money to purchase a home for me any my grandbabies that I care for daily. Laren Belger was the first person that accepted my case and she quit right after my Wc hearing. I was offered a Settlement at that hearing and it was just a formality to just sigh the docs, supposedly. Laren quit, so my case had to be resigned to another lawyer who was Schoenfelder. Then her secretary, Debbie and I had a disagreement, then she went on Medical leave. Then Maria a temp took over until Debbie returned from medical leave. Will Debbie is back on and off and my Settlement documents supposedly we mailed by WC Defense Attorney last Friday to my old Attorney, Reuben Salazar office, who retired 4 yrs ago, which is how I ended up with them in the first place. What a tale!! Today I was told that the State Fund Defense Attorney is on vacation and there is nothing they can do until the 16th when she returns, because she left no instructions. Wow!! What an experience!! Do you agree??

Seven years ago, I brought my workman’s comp case to Rose, Klein, & Marias LLP and it has been a horrible experience. Christel Schoenfelder was assigned my case and she has been nothing but a headache for the past seven years and the case has still not settled. Mrs. Schoenfelder does not respect her clients. She refuses to provide her clients updates on their case and she does not inform them when there is settlement offer. Over the past seven years she has continued to discard my phone calls and emails. In fact, one year after trying to get hold of her for month, she told me “if you don’t like what I am doing get a new attorney”. She knew after seven years that another attorney would not take the case once the settlement process had already begun. I have no idea if she doesn’t comprehend the case or that she just doesn’t care. She may just be disrespectful or arrogant. She has asked me to provide documents and then asked for the same documents over and over again. This has occurred numerous times over the past seven years. When I asked her to provide me with doctor reports for my retirement board, she never responded. Six months later her secretary calls and asked if I wanted the reports. These are just a few examples what I have been dealing with since she became my attorney. As an investigator for the Fire Department for thirty years I have worked with attorneys from the County District Attorney’s Office, California State Attorney’s Office and the United States Justice Department, and she is by far the worst attorney I have ever worked with.

Mr. Robert Vines represented my husband in a workers compensation case years ago. As of today's date June 3 2017 his case is still unresolved. Mr. Vines did not do what he promised my husband he would do with his worker compensation case. So be very very careful if you're thinking of hiring Mr. Vines. Make sure you get what he is telling you he will do for you in writing.
