I love Optic Sky. I've worked with a lot of production companies and OS is one of the best. They go above and beyond for all of their clients and their team brings a sense of creativity, a collaborative spirit, and a strong work ethic to all projects. I’ve thrown some whacky projects their way (with tough logistical demands) and somehow they have the ability to pull off whatever is placed before them. And they do it with grace; making their clients feel at ease with the process. Impressive stuff!

What a great group. I'm continually and thoroughly impressed by their recent productions and I recently toured their offices to see how the sausage is made. The team culture and collaborative approach has been evident in every interaction I've had with all levels of their production process and the people involved. Definitely a bleeding edge outfit with equal parts creativity and communication with clients. I never leave reviews, but was genuinely compelled to recognize their great work by doing so. What. A. Shoot! From beginning to end, Optic Sky showed professionalism, creativity, and a collaborative approach on a shoot that, by all accounts, was a very tall order. We relied on volunteer actors, and I truly believe that the time and care spent by the Optic Sky team with reaching out to those volunteers and keeping them informed every step of the way helped to make it a success. The planning is just a piece of a shoot, and then there's the shoot itself. This team was prepared, thoughtful, thorough, and detailed - every step of the way. The set was one of the most positive sets I've ever been a part of, and they captured the spirit of our campaign beautifully and enthusiastically leaving this client quite happy. We look forward to working with them again. A class act team with an eye for storytelling equals a formula for success!
The fact that this team is seriously talented is well known. They have amazing motion work to prove that. When we started working with Optic it quickly became evident that we picked the right crew. We had a very ambitious project that required locking down multiple locations, and reconciling complicated talent schedules. The team was fiercely dedicated to the project, planning out every detail with the ultimate professionalism. Beyond that, they are all just good people. From weekend planning sessions to the 5am crew calls they brought a ton of energy. The whole process was fun and inspiring. Best of all, our client was beyond thrilled with how the shoot went, and the beautiful footage that was captured. Looking forward to working with the OC team again.
Recently wrapped up an amazing three-day shoot with the awesome folks at Optic Sky. I couldn’t have scripted it better. From the pre-production puzzle to the on-set bustle, this was a particularly challenging endeavor with tons of moving pieces and parts. Totally buttoned-up and professional in everything they do, Optic worked tirelessly on logistics, solving problems and ensuring a smooth flow on set, despite the formidable workload. Their own keen creative instincts, meshed with their willingness to experiment and collaborate at every turn, allowed for the most exciting on-camera solutions possible. All in all, it was a great experience working with these kindred spirits who delivered on their promises and on the potential of our project.
Optic Sky is one of the gems of Rochester's advertising scene. They produce at a quality level you'd expect from massive LA or NYC production houses, and the team is brilliant and incredibly creative. I have worked with them multiple times now, and they really took our ideas to the next level (literally. we won ADDY's because of it.). Highly recommend Aaron and his team.
