If you ever have a chance to see one of the Oracle Piano Society's concerts at the Oracle Center for the Arts, go!! They bring in world-renowned performers to play during the fall and spring seasons. In Oracle? Yes! It's true! The director has deep ties to the worldwide classical music scene, and we, the audience, are the beneficiaries of those connections. The room is smallish, seats maybe 150 people? Nice cushioned seats in the center with wooden theater seats stage left and right. The superb Baldwin piano is on a raised wooden platform so you can get a pretty good view of the pianist and other musicians (if it's a trio, quartet, or sometimes two pianos). A camera is trained on the keyboard and is projected on an unobtrusive screen above the audience--seeing the masterful hands of a great pianist adds a lot of OMG factor to the already amazing sound. I can't say enough good things about this organization, the venue, and the caliber of the artists they bring to Oracle!

This is a lovely concert hall. Top class musicians perform here. It also hosts the Voices in the Oaks chorale. This is a non auditioned community chorus. It's lots of fun and open to everyone.
