We are not new to sport events as my son's been playing basketball for almost 4 years, been in a couple basketball clubs. However, fencing is new to my family. We drive by this location often and spot a new fencing club opened. We loved the atmosphere of OCFC as we walked in the first time. The fencers were so welcoming to my boy and seemed having so much fun in their everyday practice. After the first tryout, my boy wanted to go back and fence more. Now that my boy has been fencing for 6 months with the club. I can't say enough how grateful we feel to have my boy started his fencing journey in OCFC. Simon, the owner of the club, has been so helpful, so informative to someone who doesn't know anything about fencing. Without his help, we won't be able to compete in tournaments. He runs this club as his family and you can tell everyone in the club is being here on his/her own will. OCFC has the world class coaching team!! Coach Gabor and coach Kostas are the best coaches you can asked for. My boy has been under coach Kostas. He doesn't only learn how to fence but also learning how to become a respectful athlete. The families and the kids in the club are also amusing. These people are funny, friendly and always willing share with you. This club is like a big family itself. I can't recommend enough of OCFC. In the last 6 months, I have seen many joined the club and I am happy to it grows. New faces are having their sweat and smiles on their face and it's a blast to see everyone in the club is working hard and having fun. The best fencing club in OC, if not in the US. Love OCFC!

Love this fencing class! My son enjoys the environment there. Everyone is super friendly. Not to mention the awesome coaches! They help each and every student strive to be the best of themselves. 10/10 would recommend new members to join!
I came from Germany for a camp to the Fencing Center and i just have positive words. The coaches are very kind, patient and experienced. Your are able to achieve something with their help, as some fencers showed already.
After many years of trying different sports, from basketball, to tennis, and even a few years of club soccer, my son never really found his passion until we stumbled upon fencing at OCFC. Given its proximity to our home, we decided to give it a shot, and we’re happy we did. My son fell in love with fencing from Day 1 and never looked back. He’s excited to go to practices and tournaments and has made a lot of new friends. His joy for fencing is all due to the culture and atmosphere at OCFC. Being new to the sport, we were clueless about fencing, but Simon, the club owner, has always been helpful and patiently answered hundreds of questions. He walked us through everything and keeps us informed on a regular basis. He creates a welcoming, family friendly environment, and even goes out of his way to host Christmas parties and BBQs at the club. It’s been great getting to know the other families as well; whether new or seasoned, it’s obvious that everyone’s proud to be a part of this club. I also can’t say enough about Coach Gabor and Coach Kostas. They are amazing coaches who have coached around the world, and we are lucky to have them at OCFC. They have the right balance of having fun and encouraging the fencers, while pushing them to excel and helping them reach their full potential. You can tell that they are vested in every one of their students. If you want your child to try a new sport that’s fun and competitive, then give fencing at try at OCFC.
If you are looking for a good training facility for your kids, OCFC is certainly the one you should consider. Coach Gabor and Kostas are both world-class coaches who are passionate about training and guiding your kids to success. IMHO, what makes OCFC stands out from other clubs is its casual and friendly environment. Everyone is welcomed here.
