The staff has been so wonderful working with our insurance to help our daughter with her stay at the Academy. I have had updates the last two nights, since she was admitted, about how she is settling in. I miss my baby, but I am so glad she in the hands of these professionals. After two months of research with an addiction specialist, only two places in the United States of America were recommended as having a strong discharge plan following a strong inpatient plan, so that is why I am trusting this team to help my beautiful and wonderful teenager.

Great place to take your child if they are struggling with depression/ anxiety. Not only do they provide your child with a safe, nurturing environment, they provide them with the coping tools they will need when they get out. The parents classes helped us connect and talk with other parents that had been dealing with the same problems at home. They also brought in guest speakers that helped to prepare the parent on how to deal and interact with their child once they had completed the program. I would highly recommend Newport to anyone that feels hopeless and wants to give their child a new start in life.

I am grateful for a lot of the staff here but the clinical team is just bs. In here they put people in levels and if you have family issues or are still having depression or self-harm, they call you a \problem\. They don't care about good behavior they still won't stage you up. And if you make one mistake all of the people treat you badly even if you grew from it. This place was basically just like summer camp wish a lot of false advertisement for depressed people and drug addicts and I didn't find it helpful at all.
