Avoid like the plague. The courts don't have to prove anything to take your children because the level of confidence required is \preponderance of evidence\ rather than \beyond reasonable doubt\. This is defined as 51% of the evidence. That's not really even more than what is required to charge someone with a crime, and less in some cases. If the evidence you have is your word, and the evidence they have is the accusation itself and the word of someone who doesn't like you, that's the preponderance of evidence. Also, there is actually no complaint process for a person whose worker is simply not doing their job which does not have to do with overt discrimination, and the level of confidence necessary to penalize your worker for overt discrimination is much higher than the level of confidence necessary to take your child. Additionally, courts keep granting immunity for workers who falsify information in their reports. CPS contracts with privately owned for profit fundamentalist Christian adoption agencies owned mostly by Betsey devoss. There is no law in California to prevent a social worker from taking a finder's fee from any agency, so I think it would need to be investigated as to whether or not that is happening. Don't have children in California. If you already do... Run.

i wish i can put no stars! They never pick up my calls always end my calls never want to tell me my social workers name or contact info and the supervisor doesn't pick up nor return any calls! i HATE this place and will give up my benefits so i dont have to deal with them anymore!
