It is set up nicely where you are given a number and you wait in your vehicle until that number is shown on a board outside so that not many people are in the building at once. Unfortunately, I assumed that like the regular DMV,then you would wait for your number to be called. No, from there on it's a \line\ of chairs, which they don't explain, and which makes no sense as it encourages people to move from one chair to another. Also, some staff are nice but some are EXTREMELY rude. I had a simple question about my compliance summary and couldn't get an answer- instead was was talked to like dirt.

Registered my vehicle to someone else. There from 6 am to after 4
Came really early without an appointment, stood in line, I was helped and given a number, and was able to do what I came for. The lady giving out the numbers deserves a pay raise. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and she was always making sure people were being helped. The lady at the window was the same, very fast and efficient. Thank you both. More DMVs should implement this method.
They need to do appointment only, waited two hours and was told I wouldn't get in. While waiting, I made an appointment on my phone to the Madison DMV select not even 5 days later. They not only took me 10 minutes early, I was in and out within 10 minutes! I was titling and registering a car and getting personalized plates. Won't go to the Orange DMV select again! Madison DMV select is much more professional and efficient!
This place was wonderful.. the very friendly customers yapping and telling stories.. the two and a half hours went by so quickly that it was not a problem.. once inside, the staff made fast work of everyone's issues.. allowing six people inside at once and as I said.. these ladies were on point.. just remember, this facility is a Select and not a full operation. Please check with what needs you may have online before going to to see if you need a full operation DMV or Select DMV so you don't waste your time with travel or standing in that long line .. so you don't get your heart broken once you've reached the window, because of what you may need they don't do..
