Very hot inside. This was their grand reopening. It also lacks seating for a overly large dance floor. Plastic tarp on the roof indicates not quite ready for grand reopening. The waitresses were prompt and respectful given the size of the crowd. Band was good. Just way too hot with no ventilation.

Newly renovated, fresh clean restrooms, clean bar and kitchen, sparkles from floor to ceiling... New sound board, and a top notch and professional house sound man (Robbie Furiosi - badass sound engineer, drummer and vocals @ Tesla's / Frank Hannon band) killer new stage lighting system with remote programming, reasonable drink prices and good beverage selection. Great place to see amazing national acts and killer local bands...
Seen many awesome shows, they do a great job with the line ups, but my only beef is how dang hot it gets in there no matter the season. Investing in a new HVAC may be beneficial... That said, plenty of awesome memories from this place, and I will gladly return.
Great place for events and hanging out... I remember seeing Fall Out Boy here over 15 yrs ago. Coming back as an adult was fun. Staff was very alert and kind. There are rules but they aren't sticklers until someone starts causing a problem, which I saw nothing of that sort tonight. They have a variety of talents on stage and that's way cool for all kinds of different people to come and enjoy something at the boardwalk. Oh and there was food so if you dont mind a bit of a wait on a crowded night, get some, it's good and you can see them cook it which is comforting.
I go for the music, specifically it was Damaged Things I wanted to see. I loved their the music Colin (at el) have created. A different, quieter but extremely powerfully charged sound for them. Definitely showing a broader range of their lyrical dynamic. The facility itself, was consistent with how they always are. Their entry staff/security is visible and fast. The bar staff is friendly enough and provides service to customers in quick order. The sound system delivers without a ton of distortion or high frequency whistle/buzz, the bathrooms are a little older, but the doors lock, there's TP and are kept pretty clean. The place gets packed at times... such is the nature of the business.
5 at the door with a toy for a kid's toy drive is super reasonable, especially when you get to hear 10 bands!! friendly people and clean bathrooms!
Absolutely beautiful place. Super killer vibe. I love it there, it's one of the most beautiful clubs in all of Sactown.
The staff were super friendly. The venue was clean. And the lights and sound we're good.
