From moment one of entering this facility to discuss options for a lady/friend for whom I had been a caregiver, I was impressed. The staff at the front followed all current COVID-19 protocol, which assured us that safety was of utmost importance. We were greeted warmly and given as much time as was needed to make our decision. We were given a thorough tour of the facility that did not feel like the other assisted living facilities we had toured. It felt like home. Everyone we came across had a genuine smile on their face, and it made our decision easy. This is a fabulous place, and I highly recommend it. I did suggest it to a friend of mine in the same situation. They also saw the high-quality level and signed up to move their significant other into one of the units. The meals were well thought out not only for nutritional needs but also for taste. We witnessed many fun activities taking place, and all the residents were engaged. The unit was entirely ADA accessible, and safety measures were added to avoid falls. Any time we had a concern or question, the response was immediate. The most important part of this equation is that my 93-year-old friend was happy and content, said all her needs were being met and said it felt like home to her.

My mom is in the advanced stages of Dementia and it was time for us to put her in a memory care community. It's obviously a very hard and emotional decision for the family members to make but necessary nonetheless. From the first step of this process Orchard Park of Kyle has been truly wonderful! They understand the anxiety families go through during this time and are very compassionate. The atmosphere at Orchard Park is very pleasant and upbeat. Very loving community! They offer activities geared to the residents needs. They provide my mom with 24/7 care. A nurse practitioner comes every Monday to assess mom. They are in constant contact with us providing updates. My mom has been there now for 4 months. Due to the COVID pandemic we have not been able to visit as much but they have provided ways for us to see/communicate with her. Every time we have visited mom she's smiling, she looks very well kept, she looks happy! The staff is so loving and caring!! I cannot say that enough! They have made comments to me \we love your mom!\. I can see that in how my mom relates with the staff. As a daughter, that means so much!! We couldn't have asked for a better memory care community. I would highly recommend Orchard Park of Kyle!

Why I would recommend this loving community to anyone and everyone who has a love one that needs some help. I may not have any family members that are here yet but I’ve been working here for over a year and love it. All the residents I am close to and get to know them on a personal level way more than my grandparents. I see them here as my own grandparents and how I treat them is how I want my own family to be treated. This community has everything that anyone would need. We can work with any allergies for food. Any medication that needs to be taken. Also any changing that is needed. We make sure that everyone is comfortable and happy. That’s why I love this job.

We moved my mom into Orchard Park of Kyle in November 2020, this was a difficult time due to the pandemic. The transition from one facility to another could not have gone more smoothly, all paperwork had been completed prior to this day with the executive administrator (Glen), was a good idea! During the holidays visitation was limited due to the pandemic, they were trying to keep all the residents safe and healthy. On Christmas Day everyone who wanted to visit their loved one was welcomed to visit outside on a bench/chair, the executive administrator (Glen) was making sure everyone was warm enough with blankets and a place to sit and ofcourse, social distancing with a mask on. This act of kindness was so heartwarming. All the residents at Orchard Park of Kyle always look happy, and well cared for. I could not say enough good things about everyone at OPOK!!! I'd like to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to the few staff I know... Margaret(Hairstylist), Glen(Executive administrator), Michele(Nurse), Olivia Wilder(PA), Ginny(Front desk), Encompass team/PT/RN, Cook, Maintenance
