Let me start by saying I’m my own backyard mechanic, so buying parts is a necessity. With that said! This place USUALLY has the part I need wether it is in stock OR needs to be shipped which has only been one day waiting every time. Ive used oriellys in general for over 10 years and they have yet to disappoint as far as parts procurement. So for this particular store in fernley concerning customer service...the staff is friendly for the most part, I’ve never had a negative experience in that aspect but the knowledge of the staff seems to be lacking to a degree. As an example, I have a 32 spline y yolk as the connection from my drive-shaft to my transmission. I had three separate employees attempt to help find the product which I had the product number and manufacture code but to no avail it could not be found. (If you are curious I found it myself on eBay!) So to conclude, all in all the experience at this store is great. Don’t expect expert help but if you know what you need, they GOT it!

The staff at the Fernley O'Reilly's are exceptional. I recently approached Austin for advice on a perplexing charging issue I encountered on my first generation Dodge diesel pickup. He cheerfully volunteered to inspect and test my truck's electrical system. Subsequently, on his own initiative, Austin researched the Internet for additional information to assist in our diagnosis. Since three heads are better than two, Ray also offered his valuable technical advice. The culmination of this collaborative team effort was a viable workaround solution that saved me time, effort and money. And it was challenging fun. What more could you ask for? (Free parts next time, Guys?)

Austin tested my battery and changed out a new one for me. Then ran a full diagnostic on the electrical system which passed. He was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I will defiantly be using OReilly instead of Auto Zone.
