Entered my daughter in their Facebook contest, we won a free photo. We met with the art director who's super laid back yet excitingly compassionate about their work. It's a husband and wife team that makes you feel quite at home in their sweet studio setup. We're ecstatic to do her photo shoot and see what else they have to offer. The work we were able to see is awe inspiring and beautiful, would highly recommend!
I was contacted after entering a Facebook contest, and the woman on the phone said that I won a free 8x10 photo and session, however I had to pay 265 to hold the session and I wouldn't be able to call back - the deal expired during that phone call. I was a little skeptical, but of course I had been wanting to get fairy photos of my kids, so I went ahead and paid it. I was not given any pricing info ahead of time, and when I asked about it, the woman helping me stalled and wanted to show the pictures to me first. I felt very frustrated, and wished I would have had the opportunity to review photos at home and make my selections at that time (like other photographers I have used in the past). She went from most expensive package (1,300) and when I said no, I was offered a financing plan, but I was absolutely not interested in paying that much. I felt that they kept trying to pull on my emotions of how my kids will only be this young once. I ended up going with an 11x14 photo because it came with 2 additional 8x10 photos, and purchased 2 close up photos for an additional total of 500 (on top of the 265 I already paid). I do love the photos, but I felt sick to my stomach making this decision so quickly and didn't actually feel like I \won\ anything. My guess is that this is their marketing strategy. I would recommend to a friend if they were OK with this pricing, but I think most people I know would not be happy with the experience I had (not knowing pricing and not having more time to make decisions).
These are the best photographs we have ever had taken as a family! The setting was perfect for us as we wanted a natural timeless look, and the staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful dealing with a very silly, distracted 5 year old. We couldn’t be happier!!!
We had an amazing experience! The photographer was extremely fun and patient with my little one. They gave us a beautiful private viewing experience that included child care so we could actually spend time looking through our pictures. The portraits I received were absolutely top notch and we couldn't be more pleased. The whole experience start to finish was a great day with beautiful pictures to boot. Thank you so much to the Arising Images staff. We will be back in a couple years when the kids are bigger.
