Please do not put your trust in this company to have a vehicle available even though a confirmation email was sent and the reservation was put in place weeks ago! First time using a rental. I get a call a day(less then 24 hours) from move day about the vehicle I requested isn’t available at said location and any closer locations. Said to call customer service and they can “help” locate a truck. I called customer service and they said they will let management know and someone will call, text or email me within 15-30 minutes to have my phone in hand. I literally had the phone in my hand and kept refreshing my emails and received nothing of the sort. After 3 hours I call customer service back and they apologize yet again and told me to call back at 8am, they couldn’t help me because customer service is closed. Mind you original truck pick up time was set for 9am. So moving was set to happen right away. This is beyond ridiculous! And we are left scrambling. Don’t promise a vehicle will be available only for it not to be let alone for it not to be less then 24 hours from scheduled pick up. Next time I’ll go with U-Hual!

The people that work here are kind and friendly . They have the newest cars and SUVs and trucks for rent for less money then Enterprise and hertz. They always give you a full tank of gas and they make sure that your car is ready to be picked up at the time of your reservation. One of the downsides is that the vehicles are sometimes Dirty on the inside and the outside. The other downside is that they don't pick you up or drive you back like Enterprise But overall for the 6 times a year I rent from Avis/Budget of Orland park I am happy. 4.5 stars.
I was dropped off by my girlfriend to pick up the rental car. I noticed a strong smell in it and asked her to confirm and she agreed it was weed. I returned the key and said I needed something different but I was treated like I did something wrong. The gentleman working said he apologizes but he can't control everyone. This made me feel as though the cars aren't inspected after returning them. I wasn't pleased with this rental and I have used budget several times before.
Very easy and the office staff helped me early on both days before the store was officially open. Would definitely use them again.
Budget finds it acceptable to rent its patrons a dirty vehicle. First the rental agent tried to sell me on the fact that the car was clean on the inside. Then she tells me that they are only allowed to wash one vehicle per day. When I requested another vehicle- they said that they didn't have anymore. I was willing to downgrade just to get a clean vehicle that I could use for business purposes. She also assured me that scratches to the vehicle were o bigger than a quarter\, to which upon inspection was false. I tried to switch my reservation to a different location but found that to be too difficult for the reservation line to handle because I had trusted Budget by prepaying for my rental. Horrible company to deal with.
