My wife and I decided to take dance lessons in particularly to have an individualized, customized choreographed dance routine designed for our wedding, specifically for our first dance. I am no dancer (understatement of the century) and my wife is quite a good dancer so Mandy was challenged to teach a couple where one was a fluid dancer and one was gifted with two left feet...WELL she did it. Our dance was absolutely beautiful. We love Mandy and the entire team at Arthur Murray as we found everyone to be so nice, professional and helpful. We felt like family.

We initially received a postcard in the mail, and decided to check out the Lake Mary location before starting lessons. After our first free lesson, we decided to sign up. We are getting married this November, and we wanted to take dance lessons, in order to do a swing dance at our wedding, reception as entertainment for our guests. So far we love it and have had a great time learning the box and the basic steps for the swing. They are very friendly, knowledgeable, and consistent. They also have various ballroom and latin shoes for you to try on, if you want to buy shoes. I had a very hard time finding the right ivory color and size,9.5, for my wedding reception, but Andy at one of there locations was very accommodating. He worked with the vendor directly and was able to get them ordered & custom made for me. Within 5 weeks I received them! NOt only do they fit, but I'm in love with these shoes because they are beautiful. They do take some getting use to if you are not use to dancing on the ball on your foot, but I ordered the 2.5 inch flare heel, and will be adding some cushion in the toe area so I can dance the 2.5 hours for my wedding reception. If you need anything from them or are just new to dancing and have questions, just ask them. they love what they do, and I would definitely recommend the Lake Mary and Orlando (Conroy) locations.

My fiancé and I came to the Arthur Murray school to learn a mash-up dance for our wedding, as well as individual dances for one another and our first dance. Our initial impression and continued impression is of joy and excitement, and Stephen knows exactly how to achieve what we set to do. A great place to have fun, learn something new, and create something special!

If you’re looking for help with your wedding dance, a unique date activity or just a way to stay fit look - no further than Arthur Murray! My fiancé and I started with this studio back in December with the goal in mind of having a polished and fun first dance. Over the past few months we have learned the waltz, swing dancing, bachata and merengue. Mandy, Joya and Luke as well as all the other team members are a joy to work with and keep us coming back to learn more.
