My 10 year old daughter wanted a board, so after 2 semesters of honor role we started looking. Based on the reviews and after a ton of research we elected to drove 45 minutes to Catalyst and was not disappointed! Adam was awesome! I cannot say enough good things. He asked our daughter questions, was very patient, helped narrow down options, taught her some basics and showed my wife and I how to adjust the truck. He make the whole experience for her first board amazing! I wish buying a car was this good!!! When my younger daughter wants her board, and anything else I need surf or skate related it will be done here. Hands down.

Both employees were amazing helpful. Went above and beyond with giving tips, informing me on my skateboard, advising me, and many other things. Seems like they run the business with genuine interest in the topic rather than just to make money. Prices are very reasonable, too. If you need any sort of board, clothing, accessories, stickers, or many other things, this place will have them in great quantity AND quality.

Thomas is the man! Both employees were great, but Tom is who helped me build my board personally. He found the perfect element deck for me, talked 2000s skating nostalgia, and just was so knowledgeable in everything. The guy hooked me up with my literal perfect skateboard. I’m 24, and haven’t skated since I was 17. I just skated for my 3rd time on my new board and it’s all coming back to me now! I will be coming back to Catalyst for any of my skating needs. And for anyone who’s in their mid 20’s like me and hesitant on getting back into it, JUST DO IT. (Or even 30s or 40s) Get a board, get out there, and have fun. That’s what skateboarding is about.
